Core Algorithm & Logic

Built on the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classification algorithm.
The indicator analyzes recent price behavior and classifies trend direction dynamically.
Green signal line → Bullish trend
Red signal line → Bearish trend
A gray trend line acts as a long-term directional guide and support/resistance reference.

Trading Usage

Bullish Trend (Uptrend)

Occurs when:
- Signal line moves above the main trend line.
- Candle closes above the signal line.
- Signal line color switches to green.
Traders may open long positions aligned with the main trend.

Bearish Trend (Downtrend)

Happens when:
- Candle closes below the signal line.
- Line color changes from green to red.
- Signal line moves below the main trend line.
Traders can enter sell trades in the direction of the trend.

Input Settings & Controls

Price Source (hl2, VWAP, SMA, WMA, EMA, HMA): Selects which data set the indicator is built from. You can choose between candle-based averages, volume-weighted pricing, or several moving-average options including simple, weighted, exponential, and Hull.
Price MA Length (2–200): Sets how many candles are used to smooth the main input source. Adjustable between 2 and 200, this value controls how heavily the price data is averaged.
Target Source (Price Action, VWAP, Volatility, SMA, WMA, EMA, H): Specifies the reference data used to compute the target values. Seven different modes are available, depending on your preferred trading method.
Target MA Length (2–200): Determines the number of periods used to smooth the target calculations, with a flexible range between 2 and 200.
KNN Neighbors (2–200) — higher = smoother: Sets how many past data points (nearest neighbors) are considered in the KNN process. A larger setting produces a smoother output line.
KNN Smoothing (2–500) — higher = slower reaction: Controls the moving-average length applied over the KNN result. Increasing this value reduces reaction speed but enhances visual smoothness.
Historical Bars (Maximum bars to analyze): Limits how many past candles the indicator processes during computation.
Alerts (Enable/Disable): Turns notification features on or off. The indicator supports multiple alert types to signal notable market conditions.
